Welcome to Loudoun Title, your source of FAQs before closing.

What are our hours of operation?

Our normal business hours are 9am to 6pm, though we are flexible and we can  close the transaction at the time that works best for you. Moreover if needed we also provide off-site closing services.

Do you accept Personal check at closing?

As by law we have to distribute the proceeds within 48 hours of recording the transaction we require to have the funds in certified check(cashier's check) only. We do accept a personal check of less than $250 dollars in the event there are last minute changes in the HUD.

Whom should I make the cashier's check out to?

Please make the cashier's check payable to Loudoun Title. In case if the cashier's check is of a higher amount than required, don't worry we will refund the difference at the closing or will mail you a check once we disburse the money.

What should I bring with me at closing?

Please bring your cashier's check and  at-least one current photo identification document with you, either valid driver's license or passport. Everybody signing needs to be present at closing and need to have  the photo identification document as well.

What if one of the spouse or partner unable to attend closing?

If one of the signing party is unable to attend closing please make sure in advance you notify the title and mortgage company as we need to prepare the power of attorney and it needs to be approved before closing by the lender.

Please let us know at least 7 to 10 days before closing, we will prepare the power of attorney for you and get the approval from your lender before closing.
